OnCampus has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Our Mission

OnCampus is designed to help colleges, artists, agencies, and campus entertainment professionals connect in a safe and professional environment. We are committed to maintaining a community built on trust, respect, and professionalism.

Zero Tolerance Policy

OnCampus has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users may not upload, post, send, or share content that includes:

  • Harassment or abuse toward another user
  • Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Threats of violence or self-harm
  • Sexually explicit or adult material
  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
  • Impersonation of another person, organization, or brand
  • Misleading or false information
  • Content that facilitates or promotes illegal activity
  • Any content designed to harm, intimidate, or degrade another user

Reporting Objectionable Content

Users may report profiles, messages, or content that violates these standards at any time. To report content, tap the three-dot menu or "Report" option on any profile, message, or piece of content within the app.

Reports are reviewed by the OnCampus moderation team and acted upon within 24 hours of submission.

Blocking Users

Users may block any other user on the platform. When a user is blocked, that user and their content will be immediately removed from the blocker's view, feed, and message inbox where applicable. Blocked users will no longer be able to message or interact with the user who blocked them.

When a user is blocked, OnCampus is automatically notified and our team will review the blocked user's account for potential policy violations.

Enforcement Actions

OnCampus reviews all reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior and will act on valid reports within 24 hours. Actions may include:

  • Removing the reported content
  • Restricting account functionality
  • Suspending the user's account
  • Permanently removing the user from the platform

Content Filtering

OnCampus employs content filtering to detect and prevent objectionable content from appearing in profiles, bios, messages, and other user-generated text fields. Content that appears to violate our standards may be flagged for review before it is published.
